Welcome to day four of the 12 Days of Money Challenge!
I hope you’re starting to find your rhythm, build momentum, and even see results. I encourage you to grab a notebook and jot down what you did each day, how it felt, what you liked, and anything you might tweak the next time. Also, record any results—an upgrade, a new client, reactivating an old client, an inquiry, or increased social media activity. All of these are wins, so celebrate them! I'm confident you're already seeing progress if you follow through with the daily tasks.
Today’s task is to send an email.
Now, I want you to do this regardless of whether you have an official email list, email service, or ideally set-up systems. If you don’t have those, use whatever email account you normally use and think of 10 to 20 people you can contact. Promote your gift certificates, share a special offer, or let people know about your availability for the week.
This promotional email is different from a monthly newsletter or something more value-based. It’s straightforward and focused on promoting what you’re offering. I know many people hesitate to send promotional emails, but this is a great exercise to show you that you can send one and nothing bad will happen. If you’re not doing these regularly, this is an opportunity to get started. If you already send promotional emails regularly, that’s fantastic. Send an extra one today—unless you just sent one yesterday. You can repeat one of the earlier day’s activities in that case.
This task should take you 15 to 30 minutes. Simply, write a quick message. You can use the template below, reuse the image from your Facebook group post yesterday, or skip the image altogether. Keep the message short and sweet.
For example:
1. Subject line: Do you need a massage?
Hi, this is [Your Name], at [Business Name]. I wanted to tell you about a great special I’m running this month. [Brief description of the offer]. I have availability this week and next! You can book your session here: [Insert booking link].
Have a great day!
2. Subject Line:** Give the Gift of Relaxation This Season!
Hi, this is [Your Name] at [Business Name].
I’m excited to share my updated availability for the month. Also, Gift Certificates are now available online, making it easy to give the gift of relaxation to your loved ones. A massage gift certificate is the perfect way to show you care.
I also have a few appointments available this week and next—why not treat yourself while you’re at it? You can book your session or purchase a gift certificate here: [Insert booking link].
Have a wonderful day, and I hope to see you soon!

What I hope you can take away from this activity is how easy email marketing can be. While there’s a place for more value-based newsletters, there’s nothing wrong with sending a promotional email—especially when you have openings. Often, people don’t book not because they don’t want to; it’s because they’ve gotten busy and just need a little reminder.
Hop on this task and see how it goes! Comment below and let me know your results so far. 🤗
I also want to mention a few Massage and Spa Success Club resources that can help with your email marketing. We have templates with call-to-action ideas, newsletter topics, and swipe copy to make writing your emails faster and easier. There are Canva templates you can download, customize, and reuse for newsletters, special offers, and seasonal promotions.
In the club, you’ll also find my Email Marketing Challenge, which takes you step-by-step through setting up your systems. Once those systems are in place, sending an email can take 30 minutes or less, instead of feeling like a daunting task.
Check out everything included in the Massage and Spa Success Club, and I’ll see you tomorrow for day five. Bye!
