Here's the first post if you want to check it out https://www.elevatewithgael.com/blog/starting-my-new-massage-business-step-by-step-follow-along.
1. How I set up my social media profiles and which ones I chose.
2. My first massage therapy business blog post and YouTube video.
3. Some of the strategies I am using to get backlinks for my massage business website SEO.
I invested in an SEO Auditing tool and am learning more about SEO optimization. It suggested linking a Facebook Page, Instagram, Twitter (akaX), YouTube, and LinkedIn account.
Social Media Start-Up:
I decided to go with the new Facebook Page, Instagram, and YouTube accounts. I've never been on Twitter and have no interest in learning it. I have some fun ideas for YouTube, and since Google owns it, it can help with SEO.
I kept it simple and filled in my profiles completely on Facebook and Instagram. I haven't posted much on Instagram yet, but I'm getting some engagement on Facebook. I invited everyone on my friends list to follow or like because a page with engagement and followers helps SEO more.
Here are my profiles if you want to check them out:

YouTube has one short video so far
https://www.youtube.com/@BooneNCMassage I'm planning to make more videos as I do massages in beautiful places.
I turned the short video into a blog post using a transcription service and Chat GPT for editing.

My social media plan is to strive for posting at least once a week and then add for if inspiration hits!
I also started my Google Business Profile, which was verified without problems. I'm still working on adding my services, but I'm unsure how it will appear on local searches without a physical address.
I've listed a few additional places for SEO backlinks for my business, including LinkedIn Business Page, Alignable, Bing Places, and Merchant Circle. Next, I'll see if I can create a Next Door page, but without a physical address, it may not pan out. SEO is a long game, so it will be 2-3 months before I see any results from this week's activities!
Next week, I'm focusing on getting some printed marketing materials, either postcards or a rack card, and sharing in local Facebook groups.
